Dr. Handwerker received her degree in Clinical and School Psychology from Hofstra University. 

She has experience working in school, hospital, and private practice settings.

Dr. Handwerker provides evaluations and therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.  She is experienced in group therapy, as well. 

Her clinical interests include treatment of anxiety disorders including general anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, and specific phobias.  She is also experienced in working with learning disabilities, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and depression.  Dr. Handwerker is committed to helping her clients reach their full potential by understanding their difficulties and finding ways to reach their goals.
